1.     Useful telephone numbers for people attending the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej

·        General information regarding the Royal Cremation Ceremony: Please contact the Joint Operations Command Center at 1441 and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) at 1555.

·        Dress code: Please contact the Ministry of Culture’s hotline 1765.

·        Public Transportation: Please contact the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority at 1348.

·        Travel Advisories: Please contact the Tourist Police Bureau at 1155.

·        Emergency Medical Center: Please contact Bangkok Emergency Medical Service at hotline 1646 and 0 2622 9265.

·        Donation and Special Volunteers for Dad: Please contact the Volunteers for Dad Center at 09 1814 2076, 09 5479 7034 and       0 2613 3908.

 

2.     Important information for foreigners

·        Dress code for foreign members of the public attending the Cremation Ceremony: Men must wear a black shirt with long sleeves, long black trousers, and black dress shoes. Denim trousers or jeans will not be allowed. Women must wear a long-sleeved black blouse that is not tight, a black skirt that extends below the knees, and black dress shoes. Wearing a sleeveless blouse will not be allowed.

·        Foreign tourists do not need to wear black unless they are attending the Cremation Ceremony or are in the vicinity of Sanam Luang.

·        The Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang Ceremonial Ground will be open for viewing to both Thais and foreigners from 2 to 30 November 2017.

 

3.     How can the media receive the signal for recording or live broadcast at the Main Press Center?

In the television system at the MPC, there are two ways to receive the signal for recording or live broadcast, as follows:

3.1  LAN, which can be directly connected to your computer or notebook;

3.2  BNC port, which can be connected to your digital recording device; the output signal is HDI MBD.

Please be sure to bring connecting cables.

 

4.     Live broadcasting for foreign audiences

The Royal Cremation Ceremony will be broadcast via the following channels:

·        Web streaming through www.kingrama9.th;

·        Television Pool of Thailand;

·        Thai TV Global Network, Channel 5;

·        NBT World.
