Broadcast Live Schedule for the Royal Cremation Ceremony

On 25 – 29 October 2017, broadcast live schedule for the Royal Cremation Ceremony for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is as follows;


On 25 October 2017, a royal merit-making ceremony will start to broadcast live from 16.30 hr. at Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, in preparation for moving the

Royal Urn to the Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang ceremonial ground.


On 26 October 2017, the Royal Urn will be moved from Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall to the Royal Crematorium, the broadcast live will start from 06.00 hr. until the actual royal

cremation at the Royal Crematorium. The broadcast live will include the offering of sandalwood flower both in Thailand and abroad.


Festivities to pay a final tribute and farewell to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej will also broadcast live as the following details; 


Group 1 Concert and ballet will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Channel 8, MONO Channel, Channel ONE, GMM25 and Bright TV.


Group 2 The khon masked drama and shadow plays will be responsible by TGN Channel, TNN24, Springnews, Voice TV, Nation TV, AMARIN TV and PPTV. 


Group 3 Puppetry will be broadcast live by Thai PBS, Thairath TV, News TV, Workpoint, NOW26, TRUE4U and Parliament Radio and Television.


On 27 October 2017, the collection of the Royal Relics and Royal Ashes will broadcast live at 07.00 hr. until the Royal Reliquary Urn containing the Royal Relics will be transferred to

Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.


On 28 October 2017 will start to broadcast live at 16.30 hr. for a royal merit-making ceremony for the Royal Relics at Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall.


On 29 October 2017, the broadcast live will be divided into two parts. Part one will start from 9.30 hr., a royal merit making until the Royal Relics will be transferred from Dusit Maha

Prasad Throne Hall to be enshrined in the Heavenly Abode in Chakri Maha Prasad Throne Hall within the Grand Palace. Part two will start from 16.30 hr., until the Royal Ashes will be

transferred to be enshrined at two temples, namely Wat Rajabopidh and Wat Bovoranives.
