Collection of the Royal Relics and the Royal Ashes to Be Transferred to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha

After the Royal Cremation Ceremony on 26 October 2017, the collection of the Royal Relics and the Royal Ashes of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej will take place, and then they will be transferred from the Royal Crematorium to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The ceremony begins at 08.00 hr on Friday, 27 October 2017 and includes the procession of honor and Buddhist ceremony.


The fourth procession has been arranged to transfer the Royal Relics upon the Royal Palanquin with Four Poles (Rajendrayan Busabok Palanquin) to Dusit Maha Chakri Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, and to transfer the Royal Ashes upon Rajendrayan Noi to Phra Sri Rattana Chedi in the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.


The procession will be formed at the Sanam Luang central road and will take the route along Sanam Luang – Rajadamnoen Nai Road – Na Phra Lan Road before entering Vises Jayasri Gate in the Grand Palace, covering a length of 1,074 meters.
